Community Fund Presentation

What an amazing day we had at the community fund presentation held by the Thames Valley Office for Police and Crime Commission, the amazing awards presented by Matthew Barber police and crime commissioner and chief of Thames Valley police Jason Hogg.

Thank you for the vital funding which makes such a practical difference to survivors and their families providing fresh food essentials and household items for all. The practical help will support hundreds of families affected by domestic abuse across the Thames Valley, creating full tummies and smiles for miles, knowing that others care.

The essential and fresh food items can be selected at our Sanctuary survivor groups where all can gain peer support, safe spaces, friendly faces and specialist advice alongside coffee, cake and craft.

Domestic abuse takes many forms including financial and economic abuse which in turn impacts the survivor and family as well as limiting their support network and access to help and usually continues long after the relationship.

We were blessed to meet so many wonderful organisations during the presentation day that are doing such fantastic work and we are looking forward to linking up where we can.

All of our services remain free and confidential to access which is why funds like these are so vital and we are hugely grateful to all involved in making this possible.

Thank you on behalf of all at Kaleidoscopic and those we are honoured to support!
