Kaleidoscopic UK Founder Honoured Among the UK’s Kindness & Leadership Leading Lights

On World Kindness Day, Vickie, Founder and CEO of Kaleidoscopic UK, was honoured as one of the Kindness & Leadership: 50 Leading Lights in the UK—a national recognition celebrating individuals who are redefining leadership through compassion, integrity, and courage. Vickie was recognised alongside 49 outstanding leaders across business and leadership, with the accolade featured in the Financial Times.

The achievement was marked by a spectacular celebration hosted by Pinky Lilani CBE DL, Founder of the Kindness & Leadership campaign. The event took place at the residence of the Mexican Ambassador to the UK, Josefa González-Blanco Ortiz Mena, who offered a warm and generous welcome to guests from across sectors.

The evening brought together an inspiring community of leaders united by a shared belief that kindness is not a weakness, but a powerful and transformative force in leadership and society.

Reflecting on the occasion, Vickie shared:

“It was an absolutely breathtaking evening filled with kindness, laughter, and fun. Too often kindness is seen as weakness, instead of the strength that it is. Leading with heart, compassion, and courage is something we feel blessed and honoured to do—and the world needs more of it.

Thank you to everyone who nominated, to the incredible judging panel, and to the kind leaders I feel so blessed to have met.

As survivors, our kindness is sometimes used against us, so being recognised for that very quality was a true pinch-me moment. To be surrounded by such authentic and inspirational beings was a profound honour. Thank you to all.”

At Kaleidoscopic UK, kindness-led leadership sits at the heart of everything we do. As a peer support charity for survivors, we know first-hand the strength it takes to lead with empathy, courage, and compassion—often in the face of adversity.

We are immensely proud of Vickie and grateful to be part of a growing movement that is proving kindness-driven leadership doesn’t just inspire change—it creates it.

Thanks so much!
