WI Charity of the year
On March 13th we were thrilled to have been invited to the Calcot Evening WI to give a presentation at their AGM after being chosen by them as their charity of the year.
What an absolute honour this was to meet so many incredible volunteers all making a huge difference in their communities. We were warmly welcomed and had an absolutely fantastic evening highlighting all of our specialist services that will now be enhanced by their hard work and fundraising.
We were presented with a fantastic £500 cheque and are honestly so touched by the support, kind hearts, effort, cake sales, quiz (that one of our Trustees was delighted to join and the winning team) plus so much more you have all done to raise funds for us over the year.
The response we received with fantastic connections, feedback and support from all was so amazing, thank you to each and everyone of you for choosing us and helping children and adults subjected to domestic abuse to receive ongoing support. As a survivor led, peer support charity this means so much and we loved joining in your hymn also.
