Marwell Zoo Outing

Kaleidoscopic UK were delighted and honored to be able to take some of the families that we support for a much deserved and fun day out to Marwell Zoo thanks to the Wokingham Lions.

The families whom most had never been to a zoo or ever seen some of the animals got to see penguins, tigers and snow leopards. The children were astounded by them all and wanted to take the animals home as well drawing some of the new animals and memories they got to experience and share with their family and together as a community.

The families loved locating the secret ‘magical’ garden and meeting a walking talking snow leopard, some even had their faces painted to match.

The ice creams were a welcome relief in what proved to be some gloriously sunny and beautiful weather and a chance to let off steam with other children and their families.

Too often fun and new happy experiences can be hard when navigating domestic abuse and this was a well needed day out for all. Also relieving pressure for providing day trips during the holidays.
