Henley College: Education, Awareness and Fundraising
Kaleidoscopic UK would like to extend a huge thank you to The Henley College for warmly welcoming us to speak with students about our charity and the important work we do supporting child and adult survivors of domestic abuse.
We had a truly wonderful morning connecting with students and staff, sharing more about our mission, our community work and the importance of raising awareness around domestic abuse and the long-lasting impact it can have on individuals and families.
Throughout the visit, we were incredibly moved by the level of engagement, compassion and thoughtful discussion from the students. Their openness, curiosity and willingness to learn created such a positive and inspiring atmosphere, and it was encouraging to see so many young people wanting to better understand how they can help create safer and more supportive communities.
The conversations shared throughout the morning were insightful, honest and full of empathy, reminding us just how powerful education and awareness can be in helping break stigma and encourage understanding.
We are also deeply grateful for the fantastic feedback we received following the session and are especially excited about the amazing fundraising plans students are already beginning to organise in support of Kaleidoscopic UK. Knowing that young people are choosing to stand beside our charity and support survivors means so much to us.
Partnerships with schools and colleges play such an important role in raising awareness, empowering young people and encouraging meaningful conversations around wellbeing, relationships and community support.
Thank you once again to everyone at Henley College for your kindness, enthusiasm and warm welcome.
We are so excited to continue building this relationship and look forward to working together again in the future.
