A Royal Recognition to Remember- Buckingham Palace Garden Party
What a truly unforgettable and phenomenal day for some of our Kaleidoscopic UK team as we attended the Royal Garden Party in recognition of receiving the prestigious King’s Award for Voluntary Service.
To walk through the beautiful grounds of the palace, surrounded by so many inspiring individuals and organisations making a difference within their communities, was incredibly special. From the stunning atmosphere and wonderful conversations to the unforgettable privilege of meeting King Charles himself, it was a day we will treasure forever.
One of the most meaningful parts of the experience was taking a moment together to reflect on just how far Kaleidoscopic UK has come over the past decade. What began with passion, determination, and lived experience has grown into a charity that continues to support, empower, and advocate for survivors every single day across the country and has expanded beyond our initial vision.
This recognition is not just for one person, it belongs to every member of our team, past and present, whose compassion, dedication, and commitment help make Kaleidoscopic UK what it is today. We are endlessly proud of the incredible people behind our survivor- led charity and are so grateful to walk this journey together.
We also loved meeting so many amazing people throughout the day and hearing about the impactful work happening across the country.
We’re excited to continue building new connections and collaborations from such a special occasion. And of course, a special thank you to the fabulous Chicago ladies for being our ultimate hype girls as we arrived.
We made the most of our time in London together; sharing food, laughter, sightseeing, and taking a rare moment to simply enjoy each other’s company and celebrate everything we have achieved together.
To everyone who has supported us, believed in us, donated, volunteered, collaborated, or trusted us with your stories and journeys, Thank you for making it all possible!
