Food Support, Wokingham

Vital food supplies were donated and given to families that have suffered from domestic abuse.

Kaleidoscopic UK like all other groups and charities during Covid have had to adapt when our services have never been needed so much.

Some of our clients have also found themselves in harder times and with finances additionally to the financial abuse among others that they suffer. We have continued to support all over lockdown and transformed our normal support groups and programmes to online and phone support, making sure we can still help as many as possible. We have also delivered weekly food packages to our clients most in need and this has been vital as many found they had no idea where the next meal was coming from.

We would like to say a massive thank you to Wokingham Share, Tesco and all the Local residents who continue to support us each week for our clients with food supplies, and all those who took part in our food drive. It truly is so heart -warming when communities come together in times of crisis, without all the support we couldn’t offer the services we have been able to. On behalf of us all THANK YOU!!

“Leaving my abuser had many risks but knowing we had your support and I could also feed the kids every day was so comforting, really saved us, thanks to all of you” Client text.
