Wokingham Pride
The kaleidoscopic team were delighted to be involved in the 2025 Pride held at Elm’s field in Wokingham as allies on July 12th. We showed as many kaleidoscopic colours during the pride event as per our ethos. The event as always was bright, colourful, and radiating community spirit and collaboration for a very important purpose.
On the hottest day of the year we were thrilled to showcase our rainbow umbrellas and we took to the street to show our support and love for the LGBTQIA+ community in a procession through the town and into Elms field.
Wokingham Town Mayor Councillor Louise Timlin delivered a brilliant opening speech at the Town Hall prior to the procession. It was great to see Borough Mayor Councillor Carol Jewell, local MP Clive Jones, and MP Yuan Yang (representing Woodley & Earley), all visibly supporting the LGBTQ+ community and taking time to meet and greet all stalls and attendees.
We loved glittering many faces and spreading the message of love and light always. Domestic abuse impacts all relationships and we appreciate all the amazing feedback.
Our stall was as vibrant as ever with glitter balls galore. Thank you to all who came to say hello, support our charity, buy items or gain support. Thank you to all the incredible talented acts who we were blessed to be serenaded by throughout the event.
We are super excited for next year already!!
